5. Sangria

Did you know that this classic summer beverage is a cocktail that fights aging? Although we’re done with summer, you can take a trip down memory lane and savor warmer days with this fruity drink! The fruits as well as the red wine contain antioxidants and a host of other nutrients that make this cocktail one of the healthiest drinks around!
****

Ingredients:
1 (750-ml) bottle red wine
1/4 cup orange liqueur, such as Triple Sec or Grand Marnier
1 orange (unpeeled), thinly sliced
1 lime (unpeeled), thinly sliced
1 (8- ounce) can pineapple chunks packed in 100% juice, with juice
2 cups naturally flavored lime or lemon-lime seltzer or club soda
Sliced citrus fruit, for garnish
****

Directions:
Combine the wine, orange liqueur, orange and lime slices, and the entire can of pineapple, including the juice, in a large pitcher. Stir, and store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (or overnight).

To serve, strain out the soaked fruit if desired. Pour the chilled seltzer into the pitcher, and stir to combine with the wine.
Serve over ice, and garnish with fresh sliced fruit.

6. Green Tea Martini

The Green Tea Martini is a unique but tasty anti-aging cocktail to try out! We all know how green tea contains tons of skin boosting properties that will help your skin look youthful and supple. Some green tea martini recipes call for a green tea liqueur; however, this recipe calls for the real thing so you know your drink will actually be beneficial!
****

Ingredients:
2 ounces of Shochu, which is a Japanese vodka and lighter than a western vodka
2 ounces of green tea mix (green tea, honey, and water)
****

Directions:
To start you'll want to have a chilled martini glass standing by, as most drinks taste much better in a chilled glass.

You'll take your cocktail mixer and add equal parts of the Shochu and the green tea mix, about two ounces each.
Take the top of the cocktail mixer and mix it up vigorously, dump the ice.
The green tea will froth up as it comes up, now this mixture is just green tea, honey and water, that's all it is.

But it is a glass of perfection right here as the green tea foams up, and that is how you make a green tea martini.

7. Fountain of Youth Cocktail Recipe

Although this drink is called a cocktail, this anti-aging drink recipe is for those who don’t drink alcohol. This healthy beverage, also called Iguana Juice, combines fruits and veggies and even some cactus chunks for a cool blend of vitamins and antioxidants. This eclectic blend of ingredients will give your body and skin a huge boost!
****

Ingredients:
1 ounce Nopales (cactus chunks)
1 ounce spinach
1 ounce celery
5 ounces pineapple juice
****

Directions:
Blend in a juicer, not a blender, to create your Iguana Juice. Serve chilled but without ice.

Make these anti-aging cocktails the next time you have some girlfriends over or sip one while you’re taking a bath for a really relaxing and beneficial treat! Even though these cocktails are considered healthy, we still need to imbibe in moderation! Have you ever tried any of these anti-aging cocktails? What’s your favorite healthy drink?
